FAQ

What goes into our craft.

We believe good ingredients deserve a clear answer. Here is what we use—and why.

What makes Roast-n-Toast coffee different?

We source coffee from Colombia, Brazil, Ethiopia and Sumatra, then roast and create our own blends in house. Colombia brings balance, Brazil adds body, Ethiopia contributes aroma, and Sumatra gives the coffee depth. Our espresso is exceptionally smooth, full-bodied and ultra-creamy. Our drip coffee is rich and aromatic, with balanced flavor and a clean finish. Our cold brew is slowly steeped in small batches for a naturally smooth, clean and refreshing taste. Every blend is developed specifically for Roast-n-Toast—a cup you will not find anywhere else.

What kind of flour do you use?

We use Italian Caputo flour. We choose it for its balance of strength and elasticity, which supports longer fermentation, good hydration and the light, well-structured texture we want in our dough.

What kind of butter do you use in your pastry?

Our pastries are made with Italian flour and French butter from Normandy containing 82% butterfat. Its higher butterfat and lower moisture content create richer flavor, crisp edges, and the distinct, flaky layers that define beautifully laminated pastry.

What is European Cream Cheese?

Our European Cream Cheese is made from cow’s-milk yogurt that is carefully strained. It has a fresh, pleasantly tangy flavor with a slightly sour finish and a thick, smooth yet lighter texture. It is typically lower in fat and relatively higher in protein than traditional cream cheese made with milk and cream.

Do you offer gluten-free options?

No. We do not currently offer gluten-free options. Our European ingredients are selected for quality and baking performance, but Caputo flour is wheat flour and contains gluten. Our kitchen also handles wheat flour throughout the day.
